Summer is coming and I planned to have some regular training on swimming in this summer to prepare the triathlon when I am 26.

So tomorrow will be my first swimming day, to kick it off in a better way, I have to plan how distance I should start with. Because I have finished half-marathon twice, let's see what distance I should swim for a half-marathon.

After some basic calculation, we can see the ratio of running to swimming for some beginner triathlon races is about 6.67. In generally speaking, for 1km you run is roughly equal to 150m you swim.

Tomorrow I will try 500m swim to see if it works. :)
